Best LED upgrade option Currently have a 29 gallon BioCube, which comes with a built-in compact fluorescent lighting system. These LED have been a great upgrade for me as I added 3 strips of the Actinic Blue LED’s to compliment my CF’s. It completely changes the tank! If you want that shimmering effect these LED’s will not disappoint. As for the the comment that they burn out, I’ve had mine for over a year and no burn outs, maybe it was just a bad strip. I have a Dual Timer that keeps all the lighting in my tank controlled for a more consistant amount of light and maximum life expectancy all-around. In short I highly recommend this system if you want to make great LED upgrades with out taking a huge hit to the wallet.
